Cape Ballroom will have a dance lesson every Friday night, except on major holiday weekends.
NOTE: Because so many people are so busy with traveling and family visits, Cape Ballroom is closed on Christmas weekend, Easter weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, and Thanksgiving weekend. There will be no Friday Night Dance Lesson on these weekends.
Our Friday Night Dance Lessons are from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, at The American Legion, 2731 Thomas Dr, Cape.
Doors open at 6:45 pm.
The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with a group dance lesson including dancing practice to mixed ballroom music until 9 p.m. with instructors available. Line dances are included.
No smoking. No alcohol. Water is available. You may bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
Dance Partners Not Required.
Admission is $5/person at the door.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: If the Cape Girardeau Public Schools are closed because of inclement weather, Cape Ballroom will also be closed and not hold its Friday Dance Lesson. If inclement weather would force a "last-minute" cancellation, we may not have time to update Facebook or the website. Please use your discretion when deciding whether to travel in adverse weather.
